I have been writing personal checks since I was 25 and the truth is, I hate the boring look of it. I am the artsy type of gal and I have always - always fantasized about having cute checks, issuing, writing - just like Elle Woods. Yes, I know that is just a Hollywood movie, but seriously, I wanted something that would symbolize “me”.

One day, I was at my favorite salon when, Deidre, the owner handed out one of her checks to the messenger. I saw it! It was in green! Holy Cow! I told Lakisha to stop doing my hair and went straight to Deidre. I asked her about her checks. “I know, they’re green. Cool huh?” She took the whole booklet out and I had a close look. Not only was it in green, it had flowers in one corner. It was cute! Too cute actually!

I didn’t care and went inside her office counter, sat beside her when she told me that she found those secured checks online. She said that the checks were made by a company certified to work for banks and that there is a security agreement to prevent fraud.

A perfect wedding-this is definitely every girl’s dream. For me, I have always pictured my wedding day to be the most beautiful day of my life.
