Selling Old Coins Is Easier At Jewelry Stores

Posted by Lasey on November 21st, 2012

I saw a guy at the local flea market that was selling old coins. It looked like they were in a really nice case, so they must have come from someone’s coin collection. I am wondering why they would just not take it and go to the local pawn shops, or the jewelry stores to sell them. Unless those coins that are actually worth a lot of money would be worth standing out there for.

I thought about selling valuable old coins that I had, and after going to a few dealers, I found out that they were not as valuable as I thought that they were. In fact, that was when I looked into selling coins to the jewelry store. They could give me more money since they just took how much it weighed and then it did not matter how rare the coins were.

I think that some people do not realize how much the value of certain metals has gone up in the last year. There are better ways to make money from selling old coins than hanging out at the local flea market or trying to sell them on the auctions sites. The local jewelry store owners should come and check out all the people that sell the silver and gold coins and jewelry at the flea market and make them offers.

My Mom Told Me where to sell an engagement ring

Posted by Lasey on September 10th, 2012

Last year was a hard time for me. I became a single mother. My husband and I decided it was best for us to split. He decided to move, while I stayed where I was with our daughter. With that being said, I was hurting financially. Raising a child on my own was not an easy task. That was when my mom told me where to sell diamond jewelry. I had a few old diamond rings and an old engagement ring that I was ready to get rid of and move on from.

After going through all my pieces and speaking to my mother, she told me selling old diamond jewelry was a very easy thing to do, and something I would benefit a lot from. I decided to give it a shot. I sent my diamond jewelry in. I was not disappointed. I wax given top dollar for all of my pieces.

The Time I decided to get cash for gold coins to help pay for Tuition

Posted by Lasey on September 7th, 2012

It was my second year in school, so my third semester. I had all of my tuition paid for and most of my books, but I was a little bit short on funds this semester. I decided to ask around on how I could make some money fast. My friend told me how I could sell old gold coins. I was on board with this idea.

I decided to see if my family would help me. I called all of my relatives and asked them if they would give me all of their old gold jewelry that they no longer used. They were more than happy to help me. I found where to sell silver and sent it all to them. Within 24 hours, they sent me a check with way more than what I expected to receive. It helped pay for the rest of the things I needed that semester and then some.

The Day I Decided to Sell Diamonds

Posted by Lasey on August 14th, 2012

I was a stay at home mom. I did not mine, seeing as how I got to spend all of my time with my daughter. But, in being a stay at home mom, obviously I had no income to call my own. We lived pay check to pay check. One day I decided to search the internet for ideas on how to make money while staying home. I came across an ad stating I could sell old jewelry and get money for it.

I went through all of my old jewelry, when I came across my old diamond. The ad said I could sell diamond jewelry and receive twice as much for it with them than I would any where else. I was hooked. I packaged it all together, and mailed it out. Not even a week later, I got my first check in the mail.

My Story On When I had To Sell Diamond Ring

Posted by Lasey on August 8th, 2012

At the beginning of our marriage, we were doing good financially. He had an amazing job and I had the luxury of staying at home to take care of our new born daughter. Little did I know, within the year, our world would be turned upside. He lost his job due to budget cuts. I had no other choice but to figure out another way to gain an income. I decided to sell gold.

I figured the best way to go about this was to visit the pawn shops to purchase gold items, such as bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc. You name it, if it was made of gold, I would purchase it. I did not just stop at gold though. I was told I could sell engagement ring, and receive quite a bit for it. I thought this was the answer to my prayers.

Scrap Jewelry is Valuable

Posted by Lasey on August 5th, 2012

Many jewelry owners experience getting their precious accessories damaged either by accident or by neglect. When this happens, what they usually tend to do is to hide the jewelry away thinking they will have it fixed at a later time or when the budget permits it. But this rarely gets realized and so these pieces are turned into scrap albeit a very valuable one.

People who sell scrap jewelry know that they’re getting more value for their property than keeping them in storage for a long time. In general, precious metals like gold and silver appreciate in price as they grow older and damaged jewelry not in use means owners are sitting on very valuable items that could rake in a lot of money for them.

Selling jewelry is the last thing in every collector’s mind but when it comes to pieces that they can’t use it’s better to get rid of them instead of paying money to have them repaired. They can get new ones with the sale or they can buy other important stuff.
