The office washroom badly needed repairs.  I raised this matter to the person in charge for keeping all areas of the office in good shape.  He informed me that it was already being discussed by the management and that the budget for the repairs was already being prepared.  This delighted me for at least we would not have to be wary whenever we used the washroom.  I even suggested that hand dryers be added to the things to be purchased for it because it would be really useful. 

The repairs started a few weeks after I raised the matter.  The contractor worked overtime to finish it in less than 2 weeks because he knew that it was important to have a clean and working washroom.  When the work was done, we were all surprised.  The newly repaired washroom looked like it was a hotel washroom.  It even had Purell hand sanitizers which completed the whole new look of the washroom.  Now we loved staying there especially during lunch breaks when we needed to retouch our makeup.    We felt that the office is starting to upgrade its facilities.
