I picked up a copy of the real estate news magazine that was put out monthly, to see which properties were considered the hottest this month. I was shocked to find that once again, Portugal property was among the top places to buy homes. Portugal property had been at the top of the list for about seven months now. I had sold four different homes to families that were looking for a great investment and a great vacation home.

Earlier this year, when Portugal property hit the top of the real estate news, I had a hard time convincing some of my clients to purchase homes there, since they had never been there before. I paid for an all expenses paid trip for two of the families and they fell in love with the country. They had purchased homes while they were there and I recouped all of the money that I had spent to send them there, and then some.

I use these families in my marketing and they talk with anyone who is a little leery about buying Portugal property and show them the pictures of their home and their experiences there. It seems to work about seventy percent of the time.
